Gary

 
  • Gary was elected in 2012 and has since served on the Greenfield City Council where he was peer selected as Council President in multiple years.

    While on Greenfield City Council Gary played a role in countless efforts such as:

    • BWI – $80 Million Dollar Investment creating 443 New Jobs for Greenfield

    • Solar Farm approval creating “Green Energy”

    • Parks Department “Splash Pad” and Pool Area Improvement

    • Chaired the City of Greenfield Budget Committee

    • Corrected the decades old flooding problem of “Potts Ditch”

    • Secured the Main Street Redevelopment Facade Grant

    • Renovated the North District Fire Station

  • Born in Newport and raised in Bradford, Arkansas, his parents taught Gary at a young age to take responsibility, create his own destiny and be determined to achieve anything he sets as a goal.

    At the age of eighteen, McDaniel left Arkansas to pursue his future in Indiana. Originally settling in Indianapolis, he visited Greenfield and committed to make it his home.

    McDaniel has served on the Center Township Board prior to his many consecutive years on Greenfield City Council. He began employment with Keihin/IPT of Greenfield in 1999 and was previously employed in Warehouse Management for a Sony and packaging distributor. He is also a Certified Health Care Provider and has operated his own business as a Message Therapist.

  • Gary has volunteered his time to worthy causes. He is proud to have been a Boy Scout Leader and Pee Wee Baseball Coach over the years. He is a member of HOG, NRA, Associate Member and Squadron Commander for the Sons of the American Legion, and President of the Oak Commons Homeowners Association.
